Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated
This page summarizes how IOPIA handles cancellations, closeout and refundable balances under each signed engagement and applicable law. It distinguishes IOPIA service fees from provider costs, usage and advertising spend.
How this policy works
IOPIA offers one-time projects, recurring managed services and custom engagements. This page summarizes approved operating principles. The signed master services agreement, scoped statement of work, applicable recurring-service terms and written change/acceptance records specify the engagement’s details. Website summaries do not replace those documents or limit rights that applicable law preserves.
Advance payments, milestones, invoice due dates and recurring charges are agreed for each engagement; there is no universal payment schedule. IOPIA fees, provider charges, usage, advertising spend and any disclosed administration fee or markup are identified separately.
One-time projects
If a project is cancelled, IOPIA prepares an itemized closeout under the agreement. It reconciles earned fees, documented work in progress, approved nonrecoverable commitments and any disputed or defective work, and returns the refundable unearned balance. The entire advance is not automatically earned, and costs are not counted twice.
The engagement sets the calculation method, applicable processing arrangements and the work or materials to be handed over. Deliverable acceptance criteria and documented customer acceptance are defined for the engagement. Acceptance does not remove remedies preserved by the agreement or applicable law.
Refund requests beyond contractual or applicable legal entitlements require separate written approval. Fulfilling an existing entitlement is not a discretionary concession. Any right for IOPIA to end work and any notice, cure or transition duties must be expressly addressed in the agreement and comply with applicable law; this page creates no additional termination power.
Recurring and managed services
To request recurring-service cancellation, identify your service by emailing support@iopiatech.com and follow the notice arrangements in your agreement. Identity and authority may need proportionate verification.
For ordinary monthly services, the agreed billing-cycle boundary is the normal default. The agreement specifies notice, the effective cancellation date, any minimum term and treatment of prepayments. Different arrangements, including more flexible cancellation for basic services, may be expressly agreed.
Unearned future management prepayments are refunded, subject to specifically agreed lawful commitments. Where IOPIA stops providing the contracted service, the entire current period is not automatically treated as earned. Exercising an existing contractual cancellation right requires no additional discretionary approval; requests to depart from agreed terms are considered separately.
Handover and offboarding
Your agreement distinguishes customer data and assets, custom deliverables, IOPIA agency/shared infrastructure, reusable materials and third-party components. Ownership, usable licenses, transfer conditions and any payment conditions are stated for the engagement. Customer ownership is the normal default for domains and Google Business Profiles; exceptions must be expressly agreed and provider-permitted.
Handover includes the agreed files, available exports, documentation and access-removal arrangements. Platform restrictions must be disclosed before contracting, and additional migration is separately scoped. The engagement records ownership, administrative access, billing and offboarding separately; it does not transfer IOPIA’s entire platform.
IOPIA does not withhold customer-owned accounts as leverage in a payment dispute. Data return, necessary retention, deletion and backup treatment must comply with the agreement, applicable law and the verified systems involved; no unverified deletion time or indefinite access is promised.
Completed work and committed costs
Documented work and approved nonrecoverable commitments are assessed in the itemized closeout under the agreement. A supplier charge already included in an earned milestone is not deducted a second time. Disputed or defective work must be reconciled rather than automatically treated as fully earned. Refundable amounts are distinguished from any separately requested discretionary concession.
Third-party subscriptions, usage and advertising spend
Your business may pay providers directly, or IOPIA may use a disclosed, agreed managed subscription or paid-and-rebilled arrangement. This is agreed before costs are incurred. Service fees, provider charges, usage, advertising spend and any administration fee or markup are identified separately, with spending authorization, limits and renewals.
Direct provider charges and credits follow the applicable provider arrangements and law. For charges IOPIA pays or rebills, any supplier refund or credit is reviewed for allocation and provider restrictions before a pass-through is promised. Advertising spend and supplier commitments are not IOPIA service fees, but neither are they automatically nonrefundable in every circumstance. The closeout avoids double counting and applies the agreed lawful treatment.
Billing questions and disputes
Email support@iopiatech.com with your engagement or invoice details and the concern. IOPIA compares disputed charges with the agreement and delivery evidence, corrects verified errors and distinguishes required remedies from discretionary concessions. Applicable dispute rights remain preserved. This route is not a waiver or a mandatory prerequisite to exercising those rights. No numerical response deadline is promised by this page.
Changes to this policy
We keep dated versions of this policy and notify affected people of material changes relevant to them. We provide any additional notice or obtain consent as applicable law requires. Website changes do not retroactively amend signed engagement agreements; their amendment process applies. Questions can be sent to support@iopiatech.com.
